Search-driven
Every visit starts with a search query.
HitBot is software that does not send visitors directly to your site. When you run it on your own server, it first types your keyword into Google, finds your site among the results, clicks it and browses within it. That is why the incoming traffic is recorded as "organic search" in Analytics and as impressions and clicks in Search Console.

An organic hit is when a user reaches your site not by typing its address into the browser, but by entering a keyword into a search engine and clicking on it in the results list. In web analytics, this traffic is called organic search and is considered the most valuable type of traffic in digital marketing. Because this visitor did not arrive at random: they had a need, searched for it, and chose you.
In contrast, traffic arriving by typing directly into the address bar or clicking a link is classified as direct and referral. These two types of traffic bring visitors to your site, but they generate no signals related to your search engine rankings.
Critical distinction: The vast majority of tools sold as "hit bots" generate direct traffic. The counter goes up and the chart moves, but nothing changes in Search Console. HitBot's entire architecture is built precisely to eliminate this difference.
When measuring how satisfying a page is for users, search engines look at behavioral signals. Chief among these are how many people click on you when you appear for a keyword, how long those visitors stay on the page, and whether they go back and click another result.
HitBot addresses all four of these factors at once: it generates impressions and clicks for your keyword, keeps the visitor on the page, browses multiple pages and exits after a natural duration.
The system does not simply send an HTTP request; it opens a full user session on a real browser engine. Here is how a single visit flows:
Delivery is not done all at once. Your daily target is distributed across the hours of the day, so no unexplained steep spike appears in your analytics chart. For a detailed technical explanation, see the how it works page.
Each session having its own IP and its own cookie history is the most decisive factor in making behavior look natural. You can obtain the proxy pool and warmed cookies from us, or import your own lists into the software. Both are supported — details on the Proxy & Google Cookie page.
